By downloading, installing, or using The Umbrella Connect mobile or web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and The Umbrella Connect, Inc.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Use by minors requires parental or guardian consent.
Access to community features requires verification by your HOA administrator or property manager. You agree to only register for communities in which you are a verified resident, owner, or authorized user.
You agree NOT to use The Umbrella Connect to:
You are solely responsible for the visitors you approve through the Platform. The Umbrella Connect is a technology facilitator only and bears no liability for visitor conduct on your property.
All transactions are between residents directly โ The Umbrella Connect is not a party to any transaction and is not liable for disputes. Prohibited items include weapons, controlled substances, stolen property, and any item illegal under applicable law.
HOA payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant processor. The Umbrella Connect does not store raw payment card data.
By posting content on the Platform, you grant The Umbrella Connect a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and distribute that content solely for operating the Platform.
All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials on the Platform are the exclusive property of The Umbrella Connect, Inc. or its licensors.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE UMBRELLA CONNECT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE UMBRELLA CONNECT, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
